Welcome back in time . . .
It was January 12, 1775 when the original Concord Minute Men signed the Muster Rolls, organizing one of the most famous citizen militia units in American history. They led the march to Concord’s North Bridge on April 19, 1775 and provided the first forcible resistance to the British in the American Revolution.
Plans for the re-activated Minute Men began in April 1962. The first modern Muster took place on January 12, 1963—the same date the original Minute Men first mustered in 1775.
Today, The Concord Minute Men remain a proud part of the community, participating in parades, school presentations, fife and drum events, road races, sporting events, and reenactments throughout the region.
